Welcome to Crookabeck Angoras
Mary Bell has been breeding Angora Goats in the English Lake District since 1988. Angora Goats originate from Turkey and produce beautiful lustrous, mohair which is strong yet lightweight and very warm. Their exceptionally fine mohair fleeces are spun, dyed and sold in the Farm Shop as high quality knitting yarn.
Recently Crookabeck kid mohair has been spun, knitted and dyed into soft, comfortable, hardwearing socks now available to buy online. We also produce a range of mohair products, including socks, scarves and stoles, and knit kits.
Visit our online farm shop to view details of our products including scarves and stoles, and mohair fleeces which are available for direct secure online purchase. This also has information on our Herdwick Sheep Wool products.
